PUBLIC SAFETY AWARDS PROGRAM
“Celebrating Excellence In Public Safety Service”
The Annual Public Safety Awards are presented in April of each year following National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week at the Annual Public Safety Awards Banquet. Nominations for these awards are solicited annually by the Southern California APCO Chapter Awards Committee from individuals, agencies, companies, or other outside sources. Nominees are not required to be a member of APCO International to be eligible to receive the awards.

Supervisor of the Year
Trainer of the Year
Outstanding Performance by a Team
Outstanding Performance by an Individual (Police or Fire)
TECHNOLOGIST AWARDS:
RF Technologist of the Year
IT Technologist of the Year
GIS Technologist of the Year
RF Engineer of the Year
SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARDS (Optional):
Recognition of exceptional performance may be awarded for individuals, groups, or agencies (Major Incidents)
